Educational Visit to Army Camp – Practical Military Exposure
At Sainik School Govind Nagar, cadets are provided with real-life exposure to strengthen their understanding of the armed forces. During an educational visit to an Army Camp, cadets experienced firsthand learning about military equipment and defense training.
Cadets observed different types of rifles, artillery equipment, and firing range operations, gaining valuable knowledge about weapon handling, safety measures, and military discipline. This visit helped them understand the practical aspects of army life and training.
In addition, cadets received important information about fire safety and fire extinguishing techniques. They learned how to handle emergency situations and use fire extinguishers effectively, which is an essential life skill.
This experience enhanced cadets’ confidence, awareness, and sense of responsibility, bringing them closer to their dream of serving the nation.

The students of Sainik School Govind Nagar had a memorable and enriching educational trip today. Our journey began with a visit to the scenic Rani Dhar in the beautiful Satpura forest region, where students experienced the beauty of nature and learned the importance of environmental conservation.
As part of the educational tour, students also visited a coal mine, gaining valuable insights into mining operations and the significance of coal in our daily lives.
Another highlight of the trip was witnessing the traditional art of making ropes from the locally grown natural grass known as Baber, helping students appreciate indigenous skills and sustainable livelihoods.
The tour concluded with a visit to the Narmada Sugar Factory, where students learned about the complete manufacturing process of sugar and ethanol, from sugarcane processing to the production of valuable industrial products.
This educational excursion successfully combined nature, science, industry, and traditional knowledge, providing students with practical learning beyond the classroom.
